ISI Quantitative Economics Entrance
Indian Statistical Institute has been offering a unique post graduate programme in economics called MASTER OF SCIENCE IN QUANTITATIVE ECONOMICS since the year 1996.
Admission Procedure:
Selection of students for M.S. (Q.E.) Course will depend on several factors such as their previous academic record, and performance in the ISI economics entrance written test and interview.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the MSQE programme, a candidate must have a 3 years Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics or Statistics. Those having a BStat degree from the Indian Statistical Institute OR an Engineering degree are also eligible.
Scope:
After the successful completion of the course; plethora of job opportunities are available in Academic and research of Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics and other fields.
Course structure includes Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Game Theory, Econometric Methods and Mathematical Methods.
All the candidates will be given a fix stipend during the programme.
